It all comes down to risk. How much risk do you want to take in your life?
If you don’t take out insurance then are only two outcomes of any future event. Either you can afford to put your life back on course with your own money or you embark on a different life journey.
Everyone should have some form of insurance for the big things like life insurance, car insurance and house insurance because the impact of disaster in these areas can be catastrophic. The need for other insurance depends upon individual circumstances.
The question that you have to ask is quite simple, and it is the ‘What if’ question.
‘What if …….. happened?’ The answer will then help you decide on the value of the risk involved. How much would cost to replace? Could you carry on without replacing it? Can you afford to pay the costs yourself?
